Believe it or not... I actually went to school for SEVEN years to get my undergrad and doctorate degree to become a physical therapist!! Although, after a couple years working as a PT full-time, I realized i wasn't passionate about it. I quit my job, bought a camera and went ALL-IN with photography. I already had a love for it, but decided.. Why not do what I love full-time? I began Aspen Taylor Photo in Rota, Spain, while my family was stationed there.
We had our daughter Aspen (how I got my business name) in Spain, which further deepened my love for capturing all things motherhood and family! When our time was up in Spain, we moved to Pensacola, FL, where I began documenting families & weddings all over the Gulf Coast. Here we had our second daughter, Sunny… on Christmas Day!! God is so good!
Fast forward to today.. we are now located in Virginia Beach for the foreseeable future. My goal is to capture weddings and families near me and in the surrounding North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC area.
